BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Kachin and Northern Shan States.
