BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong  over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 24th August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions, Kachin, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
