BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Chin and Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 –8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
