                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin and Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and isolated heavyfalls in Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.65) inches in Myaungmya, (3.46) inches in Hlaingbwe, (3.19) inches in Phyarpon, (2.99) inches in Homalin, (2.67) inches in Bhamo, (2.52) inches in Pathein, (2.32) inches in Shwe Gu, (2.06) inches in Kataingti, (1.45) inches each in Katha and Labutta, (1.34) inches in Banmauk, (1.26) inches in Pinlaebu, (1.06) inches in Launglon, (1.02) inches in Kyeikkhame and (1.00) inches in Paing Kyone.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
