                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay and Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.78) inches in Patheingyi(Agro), (3.93) inches Shwekyin, (3.62) inches in Madauk, (2.20) inches in Budalin, (2.09) inches in Hlaingbwe, (2.01) inches in Hpasaung, (2.00) inches in Nyaunglaybin, (1.90) inches in Kawthaung, (1.65) inches in Putao, (1.61) inches in Chaung U, (1.50) inches in Gangaw, (1.46) inches each in Payathonsu and Ye, (1.41) inches in Khin Oo, (1.38) inches in Belin and (1.36) inches in Madaya(Agro).

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin and Shan States.
