SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region, scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Northern Shan, Chin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.51) inches in Hkamti, (4.60) inches in Paing Kyone, (3.18) inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), (3.11) inches in Maungdaw, (2.80) inches in Thaton, (2.63) inches in Phyu, (2.24) inches in Kungyangon, (2.05) inches in Madauk, (2.01) inches in Gyobingauk, (1.94) inches in Kataingti, (1.89) inches each in Myitkyina and Taungdwingyi, (1.57) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit and (1.54) inches in Hpa-an.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rdJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Shan (South and East) State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Kayah and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of decrease of rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
