SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, scattered in Sagaing Region, Northern Shan and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.54) inches in Paung Byin, (3.03) inches in Maungdaw, (2.75) inches in Yamethin, (2.52) inches in Hkamti, (2.45) inches in Nyaungtone, (2.32) inches in Thaton, (2.24) inches in Belin, (2.01) inches in Hainggyigyun, (1.54) inches each in Kunlong and Ann, (1.41) inches in Kyaukpyu, (1.34) inches each in Pinlaung and Kyauktaw and (1.30) inches in Thandwe.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22ndJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
