SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing , Mandalay and Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Southern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.57) inches in Putao, (4.45) inches in Katha, (2.60) inches each in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), Yangon(Northern Dagon), (2.40) inches in Machanbaw, (2.36) inches in Ban Mauk, (2.20) inches in Myauk U, (2.13) inches in Khayan, (1.97) inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), (1.93) inches in Hmawbi, (1.77) inches in Central Yangon, (1.69) inches in Kungyangon, (1.65) inches each in Hkamti and Kyaukpyu, (1.54) inches in Pinlaebu and (1.42) inches in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin,  Rakhine and Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Chin and Kayin States, scattered in Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
