SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.41) inches in Mogoke, (2.99) inches in Hlaingbwe, (2.80) inches each in Hmawbi and Mahlaing(Agro), (2.32) inches each in Lunkyaw and Myeik, (2.24) inches in Myauk U, (2.09) inches in Belin, (2.02) inches in Wundwin(Agro), (1.97) inches each in Kyaukse and Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri), (1.89) inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), (1.77) inches in Myingyan, (1.72) inches in Thazi(Agro) and (1.70) inches in Natogyi(Agro).

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of  isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
