SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Taninthayi  Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Kayin States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Chin and Mon States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.11) inches in Kyaukse, (2.79) inches in Mogoke, (2.21) inches in Bhamo, (1.64) inches each in Shwebo and Singaing(Agro), (1.45) inches in Ngazun(Agro), (1.38) inches in Hkamti, (1.26) inches each in Pyinoolwin and Hpapun and (1.02) inches in Madaya(Agro).

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (South and East), Chin, Rakhine and Kayin States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of  isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
