SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin and (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.47) inches in Manaung, (3.54) inches in Myaungmya, (2.64) inches in Maungdaw, (2.05) inches each in Bago and Phyarpon, (1.77) inches in Gwa, (1.57) inches each in Hkamti and Thandwe, (1.53) inches in Sittwe, (1.22) inches in Launglone, (1.10) inches each in Ramthlo, Hpa-an and Kyeikmayaw and (1.00) inches in Paing Kyone.

 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is generally moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Kachin, Chin and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
