SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan(South and East) State, scattered in Upper Sagaing  Region, Northern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (6.58) inches in Maungdaw, (5.08) inches in Sittwe, (4.13) inches in Gwa, (3.62) inches in Kungyangon, (3.39) inches in Thandwe, (3.07) inches in Taungkok, (2.92) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.40) inches in Zalun, (2.36) inches in Okkan, (2.29) inches in Bago, (2.24) inches in Myitkyina, (2.17) inches in Phyarpon and (2.13) inches in Thaton.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Napyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Shan (South and East), Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Mon State. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
