SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Magway and Bago Regions, Shan (South and East), Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.47) inches in Thandwe, (2.79) inches in Myintkyina, (2.56) inches in Mogaung, (2.37) inches in Sittwe, (2.13) inches in Kyaukpyu, (1.93) inches in Taungkok, (1.89) inches in Myauk U, (1.81) inches in Falam, (1.69) inches in Kalay, (1.57) inches each in Thitchauk and Kawkareik and (1.42) inches in Shwegu.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Shan, Kayin and Mon States.
