BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak over the East central Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 06th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30)m.p.h.Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 - 6) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
