SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Naypyitaw and Magway Region, scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Chin and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Magway Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.11) inches in Chaungsone, (2.21) inches in Thaton, (2.13) inches in Paletwa, (1.97) inches in Thayat, (1.69) inches in Thipaw, (1.65) inches in Mawlamyine, (1.46) inches in Tada U(Avia), (1.38) inches in Seiktha, (1.26) inches in Hlaingbwe, (1.20) inches in Hpapun and (1.14) inches in Kyauktaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East central Bay of Bengal. Weather is  partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Chin and Kayin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of advancement of Southwest Monsoon into the Central Myanmar areas.
