SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions, Southern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.70) inches in Pyinoolwin, (1.89) inches in Bago, (1.58) inches each in Sittwe and Hlegu, (1.38) inches each in Machanbaw and Mogaung, (1.34) inches each in Hlainggyigyun and Kyeikkhame, (1.30) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (0.86) inch in Yangon(Mingaladon) and  (0.79) inch each in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), Dawei and Launglon.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East central Bay of Bengal. Weather is  partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Shan (North and East), scattered in Lower Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Central Myanmar areas.
