BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Deltaic, Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10-13) feet off and along Deltaic, Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time off and along Gulf of Mottama, Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Gulf of Mottama, Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of likelihood of thundery activities in Deltaic areas.
