BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal during next (24)hrs and a Cyclonic Storm (16.5.2020). It is very likely to move Northwest wards initially and then recurve North-Northeast wards towards North Bay of Bengal after(17.5.2020). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th May, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy iin Naypyitawe and Rakhine State. Rain or thundershowers  will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin  and  Shan States and  isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States.
