BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify into a depression during next (72) hours and it is likely to move North-Northwest  wards gradually. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 03rd May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan State and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
