SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan(North and East), Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and (2°C) above April average temperature in Southern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (44°C) each in Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Magway, Pakokku, Taunggu and Bawlakhae and (43°C) each in Shwebo, Myinmu, Aunglan, Gangaw, Pauk, Sinbyugyun and Pyay. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.24) inch in Putao, (0.20) inch in Naypyitaw(Dakhinathiri), (0.16) inch in Machanbaw and  (0.08) inch in Hkamti.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
