SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan State, isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway and Yangon Regions, Chin and Kayah States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk, (42°C)each in Minbu and Magway and (41°C)each in Myinmu, Yamethin, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun and Zaung Tu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.55) inch in Katha, (0.31) inch in Putao, (0.28) inch in Loilin, (0.24) inch in Monyin and (0.19) inch in Namsam.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the  Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
