SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region, Southern Shan and Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States and (2°C) below March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (39°C) each in Taunggu and Bawlakhae and (38°C)each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Pyay, Nyaunglaybin, Gyobingauk, Hpa-an and Theinzayet.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04)inch in Ramthlo.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th March, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions.
