SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions, Kayin State and (3°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C)each in Aunglan, Bawlakhae, Hpa-an and Theinzayet.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Central Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd March, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
