SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, (Northern and Eastern) Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C)above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Kachin and (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, (3°C) to  (4°C) above February average temperatures in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha and (9°C)each in Pinlaung, Mindat and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Pinlaebu (1.18) inches, Muse and Taunggyi (0.20)inch each,  Loilin and Tamu (0.16)inch each, Katha (0.11)inch and Nyaung Shwe, Mingin and Kanbalu (0.08)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th February, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, isolated in (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of Continuation of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
