SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C)above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (7°C)each in Putao and Mogoke and (8 °C)each in Heho, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd February, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
