SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Kachin State and weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region, Chin and Rakhine States and (2°C)above February average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) above February average temperature in Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Ramthlo, (4°C) in Heho and (6°C)each in Namsam, Loilin, Tiddim and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (0.12)inch and Myeik (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th February, 2020: Rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Kachin State.
