SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (8°C) below January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah and Kayin States, (2°C) below January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and South) and Mon States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Namsam, (1°C) in Mongyang, (2°C) each in Heho and Kengtung and (3°C) each in Putao, Pinlaung, Loilin, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th January, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (4-6) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
