SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon Region and Kayah State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Namsam, (2°C) each in Heho and Hakha, (3°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Mongyang, (4°C) each in Putao and  Ramthlo and (5°C) each in Nyaungshwe, Tiddim and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th January, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan State.
