SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Kayin State and (2°C) above January average temperature in Magway Region, (3°C) above January average temperature in Southern Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Mogoke, (4°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Mongyang, (5°C) each in Putao, Ramthlo and Pyinoolwin and (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Loilin, Mindat and Tiddim.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th January, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States.
