SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperatures in Chin and Kayin Sates and (2°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay Region, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and (3°C) above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Ramthlo, (5°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Heho and (6°C) each in Mongyang, Tiddim and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and East central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th January, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain in Taninthayi Region.
