BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and West Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd January, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan States, scattered in Mandalay Region and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
