SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain have been isolated in Southern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State and (3°C)to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Shan (South and East), Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Putao, (4°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Ramthlo and (6°C) each in Mindat, Tiddim, Tongzan, Mingin and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Ramthlo (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea  and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st January, 2020: Rain will be isolated in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
