SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been isolated in Eastern Shan State and weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and Magway Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Eastern Shan and Kayah States and (3°C) above December average temperatures in Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) each in Putao and Hakha, (4°C) in Tiddim, (5°C) each in Heho, Mindat and Mogoke and (6°C) each in Machanbaw and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Minesat (1.18) inches.

 BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Shan, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
