SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, Northern Shan and Kayah States and isolated in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region, Eastern Shan and Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in (Northern and Southern) Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Putao, Mindat, Ramthlo and Mogoke, (6°C) each in Falam, Tiddim and Mingin and (7°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Myeik (0.70) inch, Minesat (0.59)inch, Kunlong (0.32)inch, Lashio (0.24)inch and Muse (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th December, 2019: Rain will be isolated in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Eastern Myanmar areas.
