SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been in partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperatures in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan State, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Bago Region, Rakhine State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Mongyang, (4°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Mogoke and (5°C) each in Loilin and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea and East central Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th December, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 –7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
