SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperatures in Magway Region and Rakhine State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (5°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Mogoke and (6°C) each in Thipaw, Mongyang and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is ‌generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (South and East), Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 –7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
