SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypitaw, Taninthayi Region and Kayin State and (3°C) above December average temperature in Southern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Namsam, (4°C) in Mongyang, (5°C) each in Heho and Mogoke and (6°C) each in Loilin and Ramthlo.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is ‌a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and East central Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 –7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in the Eastern Myanmar areas.
