SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below December average temperatures in (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Magway and Bago Regions, Chin State and (2°C) above December average temperature in Kayin State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Heho, (3°C) in Namsam, (4°C) each in Pinlaung, Mongyang and Ramthlo, (5°C) each in Lashio and Mogoke, (6°C) each in Thipaw, Kyaukmae, Kengtung, Mindat, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and ‌a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 –7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Chin States.
