SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were  (3°C) below December average temperatures in Shan(North and East) and Kayah States, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Mandalay and Yangon Regions, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Kayin State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (4°C) each in Pinlaung, Mongyang and Mogoke, (5°C) each in Putao and Ramthlo and (6°C) each in Lashio, Loilin, Kengtung and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and ‌a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about                                                                                                                                                   (5 –7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures

in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States.
