SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below December average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) below December average temperature in Kayah State and (2°C) below December average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, Southern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Pinlaung, Kengtung and Mogoke, (5°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang and (6°C) each in Loilin and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Kachin State.
