SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below December average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States and (2°C) below December average temperatures in Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Northern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Heho, (5°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung, Kengtung and Mogoke and (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Loilin, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady  and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
