SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below December average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) below December average temperatures in Northern Shan and Kayah States and (2°C) below December average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Mogoke, (5°C) each in Heho and Pyinoolwin and (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Loilin, Kengtung, Tiddim and Ramthlo.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and East central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th December, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing  and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3-5) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
