SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (9°C) below December average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (7°C) below December average temperature in Northern Shan and Kayah States, (5°C) to (6°C) below December average temperatures in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Kayin States, (3°C) to (4°C) below December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States and (2°C) below December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang, (1°C) in Heho, (2°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Kengtung, (3°C) each in Pyinoolwin and Mogoke, (4°C) each in Thipaw, Lashio, Kyaukmae, Minesat and Hakha and (5°C) in Loikaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th December, 2019: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3-6) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
