SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin and Mon States, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Kayin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Northern Shan State and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Chin and Kayah States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and (4°C) above November average temperature in Kachin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (7°C) each in Namsam and Moekok, (8°C) in Mongyang, (9°C) each in Pinlaung, Mindat and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Machanbaw (0.08)inch.

 

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and Southeast Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th November, 2019: Light rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.   

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperature in Upper Myanmar areas.
