SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, scattered in Magway Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Rakhine States, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin and (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, (5°C) above November average temperature in Northern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (10°C) in Mindat, (11°C) in Hakha and (12°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kyaukpyu (1.97)inches, Ramthlo (1.73)inches, Maungdaw (1.53)inches, Falam (1.22)inches, Mogoke (1.06)inches and Tongzan and Taungkok (1.02)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Southeast Bangladesh has weaken into a low pressure area. Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (11:30)M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm over Vietnam downgraded into a Tropical Depression and moving Westwards slowly and forecast to weaken gradually into a Low Pressure Area.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th November, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in Naypyitaw and Magway Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts and (5-7) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan States.
