BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30)M.S.T today, the Severe Tropical Storm "Nakri" over the South China Sea crossed the coast of middle Vietnam and downgraded into the Tropical Storm "Nakri". It is forecast to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually into a Tropical Depression.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 11th November, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Magway Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough sea will be experienced off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts and (6-8) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 11th November, 2019: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).
