SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Mon State. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and (4°C) above November average temperature in Southern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (10°C) in Mindat, (11°C) in Hakha and (12°C) in Tiddim and Ramthlo. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Chaungsone(3.98)inches, Phyarpon (3.74)inches, Yangon(Kaba-aye) (2.71) inches, Central Yangon (2.63)inches, Naypyitaw (Pobbathiri) (2.36)inches, Yangon(Mingaladon) (2.31)inches, Mudon (2.17)inches, Pathein (2.05) inches, Kya-In-Seikkyi (1.96)inches, Bago (1.69)inches and Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) (1.66)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm "BULBUL" over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal moved North-Northwestwards is centered at about (195) nautical miles South-Southeast of Paradip (Odisha), India, (270) nautical miles South -Southwest of Sagar Islands (West Bengal)၊ (320) nautical miles South-Southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh), (350) nautical miles Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar) and (350) nautical miles Southwest of Maungdaw (Myanmar). Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th November, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, scattered in Kayah and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Frequent squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (55-60)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10-15) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
