SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Chin State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region and Kayin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and fairly widespread in Yangon Region, Kachin and (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfall in Lower Sagaing Region. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Magway Region, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah and Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (12°C) in Hakha, (13°C) in Mindat and (14°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Naypyitaw(Otarathiri) (3.46)inches, Lunkyaw (3.03)inches, Kyaukse (2.40)inches, Amarapura (Agro) (2.34)inches, Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri) (2.01)inches, Sagaing (1.97)inches, Mandalay (1.93)inches, Hpapun (1.90)inches, Launglon (1.69)inches, Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri) (1.61)inches, Patheingyi(Agro) (1.43)inches, Singu(Agro) (1.40)inches, Naypyitaw (Zayarthiri) (1.34)inches, Labutta (1.30)inches and Thipaw, Pyinmana(Walgyi) and Chaungsone (1.22)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Andaman Sea has intensified into a depression over Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (85) nautical miles West-Northwest of Maya Bandar (Andaman Islands), about (510) nautical miles South-Southeast of Paradip(Odisha), about (125) nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and about (290) nautical miles Southwest of Pathein (Myanmar). Weather is a few cloud over the North and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th November, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States.
