SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Kayah State, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and isolated in Bago and Yangon Regions, Mon State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Loilin (0.59)inch, Bago (0.43)inch, Myaungmya (0.28)inch, Pathein (0.24)inch, Yay (0.20)inch, Labutta and Loikaw (0.12)inch each and Kengtung (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30)M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm "Matmo" over Cambodia has crossed Vietnam coast and downgraded to the Land depression over Cambodia. It is forecast to move Westwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st November, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Chin and Rakhine States. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
