SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Southern Shan State, scattered in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and isolated in Bago Region, Kayin and Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Central Yangon and Kungyangon (1.30) inches each, Zaung Tu (1.22)inches, Labutta and Hlaingbwe (1.18)inches each, Dawei (0.91)inch, Loilin (0.55)inch and Hlegu, Phyarpon and Myaungmya (0.52)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Lakshadweep, Maldives and adjoining  Comorin area has intensified into a depression now lies over Maldives-Comorin areas and centered at about (210) miles Northeast of Male (Maldives) and (210)miles East-Southeast of Minicoy (Lakshadweep) Island. It is forecast to move Northwestwards and cross Lakshadweep Islands and reach Aribian Sea. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st  October, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan,  Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
